In September 1945 I entered the first grade at Georgia Tucker elementary school in Monroe Louisiana.
This was the start of my academic education that has evolved into the interesting twist in life that Gabriella and I have an apartment at Georgia Tucker Gardens assisted-living facility and we are living in my first grade classroom.
Since I broke my shoulder the end of January I have not been able to help Gabriella with her Parkinson’s so we are back in my first grade classroom where the attendants can respond in two minutes at any time of the day or night if we need help.
Since I have been out of my office recovering from the shoulder injury we hope to be back in the office by 4 July. Full retirement is planned for the end of December this year. By the way, happy Mother’s Day to my patients that I have a been able to attend the miracle of birth.
