I've always had a good feeling about Georgia Tucker because it's where I went to grammar school! And the room that I'm living in right now was my first grade class room. 

"My name is Doctor Ralph Armstrong. I was born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana. I’ve been living here at Georgia Tucker for- since September so it’s about nine months. I’ve always had a good feeling about Georgia Tucker because it’s where I went to grammar school, and the room that I’m living in right now was my first grade classroom and it just has a special meaning for me. We love being here. My wife and I needed help getting around. She has Parkinson's disease so if she falls then we gotta have help right away so this is an assisted living place and so they’re right there on the spot. We feel safe with it here. Everything is done for us. The cooking, if we need something fixed we call Danny, he’s the manager, the facility manager, he’ll come out and fix it, do whatever has to be done and everybody is so friendly and we’ve gotten to meet all the tenants and the employees here and it’s just a happy, happy group. The other day we were walking through the big room down there and they had the guy from the zoo and he had a bunch of animals, snakes and birds, and things like that, and he was telling stories about them and everybody was looking at them and learning about it and they have little talent shows and they have things that you can, little crafts that you can work on there’s always something that they’re working on, and there are outside groups that will come and just sing sometimes for us. So it’s a very active place. It's not a place where you just sit and do nothing, it’s very active. And it has really gotten, after eight or nine months now where it is just one big family. We enjoy that. I looked at other places, but this one had a charm to it and a comfort level that I was happy to find."
