September 7th was declared "Sidney Seegers Day" to honor Dr. Seegers for his many accomplishments.

We celebrated September 7th as “Sidney Seegers Day,” declared by Monroe Mayor Ellis to honor Dr. Seegers for his many accomplishments, and in particular his 65-year membership in Monroe Rotary.

The President of Rotary International, nine Past District Governors, elected officials, and family members honored Dr. Seegers for his service as the longest-term member to date.
