Post subject: Georgia Tucker Project - 2007
The Louisiana Tech School of Architecture has taken on the project of studying potential uses for the Georgia Tucker School building in order to make suggestions on possible future plans for the building. They are presenting some of their ideas and suggestions this Wednesday October 24th at 7pm at the Welcome Room at Beidenharn Museum and Gardens.
Their first presentation a few weeks ago was extremely interesting and this week's meeting should include a review of that report with additional details and ideas.
Please take advantage of this opportunity to hear ideas about possible means to salvage this unique, beautiful, and historic structure in Monroe's Garden District.
